Restorative Dentistry
Rebuild damaged or missing teeth with implants, same-day CEREC crowns, bridges, dentures, and more — most treatment done in-office.
Restorative dentistry is what we do when a tooth is damaged, decayed, or missing. The goal is straightforward: get the tooth — or the bite — working again. At Centennial Family Dentistry, we handle most restorative treatment in-office, which means fewer referrals and fewer trips across town.
What’s included
Dental implants. An implant is a titanium post placed directly in the jawbone. It holds a crown, bridge, or denture just like a natural root would. Implants are the closest thing to a real tooth that dentistry offers — they don’t slip, they don’t require shaving down neighboring teeth, and they prevent bone loss.
All-on-4. For patients who’ve lost most or all of their teeth, All-on-4 replaces an entire arch with four strategically placed implants. The result is a fixed, non-removable set of teeth that looks and functions like natural dentition.
Teeth in a day. Some patients can have implants placed and a temporary set of teeth attached in a single appointment. We’ll tell you upfront whether you’re a candidate.
CEREC same-day crowns. We mill crowns in-office from a digital scan. No temporaries, no second appointment, no impression trays — just a finished crown the same day.
Dental implant restoration. If you already have an implant placed elsewhere and need the crown, bridge, or abutment placed, we handle that too.
Dental bridges. A bridge fills a gap using crowns on the neighboring teeth as anchors. It’s a proven option when implants aren’t on the table.
Full and partial dentures. We fit and deliver both full dentures (for patients missing all teeth) and partial dentures (for gaps among remaining teeth).
Root canals. When decay reaches the pulp of a tooth, a root canal removes the infection and seals the tooth — saving it from extraction. Most root canals are no worse than a filling appointment.
Endodontics. Complex root-canal cases and tooth-structure issues fall under our endodontic services.
Bone grafting. Bone loss at an extraction site can disqualify a patient from implants later. A bone graft at the time of extraction preserves the site and keeps future options open.
When to consider restorative work
Common signals: a tooth that hurts when you bite down, visible cracks or chips, an old filling or crown that’s failed, a gap you’ve been ignoring, or a denture that no longer fits well. Any of these is worth a conversation.
What the process looks like
Most restorative cases start with an exam and x-rays — sometimes a 3D CT scan if we’re planning implants. We’ll walk through what we find, lay out your options with honest cost estimates, and let you decide what makes sense. We’re not in the business of recommending the most expensive solution when a simpler one will work.
Insurance and financing
Restorative work varies widely in cost. We’re in-network with most PPO plans and work with financing partners so patients can spread larger treatment costs over time.
Our office is in Centennial Hills on Ann Road near the 215. We serve patients from Summerlin, Lone Mountain, and the broader Northwest Las Vegas area. Call (702) 385-7415 to schedule a consult.
